“The course was excellent. I’m so grateful to be able to have done it via distance learning. It’s so easily accessible and really appeals to those of us who are busy Mums with babies. SlingSmart offer full guidance along the way. Before, during and after the course. Really pleased I did it.”

Safety

Carrying children can be achieved with a good level of safety, but to do so you must be mindful of the potential risks. These are covered extensively within the course. Small babies have the highest risk for airway and breathing issues and older children are most at risk of falls, but following safety guidance will greatly reduce these risks.

Resources

There are a vast range of resources available to assist with education in safe and comfortable carrying. SlingSmart has compiled a number of these to support your journey towards becoming a carrying educator, but these are available to anyone.
